
Corey Tremble
Tremble completed his 15th season with the Tigers Organization in 2022, marking his tenth as the Minor League Medical and Rehabilitation Coordinator. Following the 2017 season, the Tigers Organization named him the Dwight Lowery Player Development Person of the Year and he was named the Medical Coordinator of the Year by the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society in both 2021 and 2022.
He served as the athletic trainer for the Gulf Coast League Tigers during the 2008 season, Single A West Michigan during the 2009 and 2010 seasons, and Single A Lakeland during the 2011 and 2012 Seasons. Additionally, he served as the athletic trainer with the Surprise Rafters in the Arizona Fall League in 2010 and the American League Athletic Trainer in the 2021 MLB Futures Game.
Tremble graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in athletic training, completed his graduate work at the University of South Florida, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Athletic Training at Florida International University. Aside from being a licensed and certified athletic trainer, he also holds an array of certifications in manual therapies and exercise science.
He currently holds appointments on the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society Electronic Medical Records and Website Committees, was a member of the NATA Cannabis-Related Resources for the Athletic Trainer Task Force, and is a member of Major League Baseball’s Medical Advisory Committee. He resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife, Joanna.
